Hello world!!
My name is Kelvin Nuñez and I am multimedia artist, writer, and storyteller dedicated to amplifying underdog narratives and shedding light on overlooked stories.
I was born in Manhattan and raised in Reading and Philadelphia, PA. I draw my inspiration from my Dominican heritage, my parents’ resilience working in West Philly bodegas, and the grit of my hometowns. My creative work spans music, film, photography, and literature, each medium serving as a tool to challenge perspectives and foster meaningful conversations.
As a Hamilton College graduate, I have immersed myself in interdisciplinary storytelling, crafting narratives that blend written, auditory, and visual elements. My Senior Fellowship novel, Dónde descansan las almas, explores identity, masculinity, and culture, brought to life through an animated trailer and an original soundtrack.
I believe that storytelling is a means of empowerment. Whether through rap, animation, videography, or the written word, I seek to build worlds where authenticity reigns and unseen voices find their place in the spotlight.
